“I have been guiding on the Transpantaneira since 1994.”
My name is Fisher Sousa. I am a certified naturalist guide from Cuiabá, and the Northern Pantanal has been my workplace for more than thirty years. I guide wildlife photographers, birdwatchers, jaguar spotters and families.
I spent many years searching for jaguars around Porto Jofre, and that is where I learned how to find them. In 2003 I started offering tours just for jaguars, and since then every guest who stayed at least three nights in the Porto Jofre region has seen one.
Over time I built a good relationship with the lodge owners and local people along the road, so I know which lodge suits each traveller. All my tours are private. I meet you at Cuiabá airport and I am with you until I bring you back for your flight.
Besides the Pantanal, I also take guests to Chapada dos Guimarães and Bom Jardim.

My name is Patrícia Angel, and I have been a naturalist guide in the Pantanal since 2006. I am passionate about nature, about people and about what I do.
I speak German, Swiss German, Italian and Spanish fluently.
What I enjoy most about my work is being with people, showing them the beauty of the Pantanal and making sure they feel safe, comfortable and welcome by my side. I want every visitor to enjoy the experience at ease and feel a little at home in the Pantanal.
